Every dog has their own personality and I strive to give each one in my care the attention and tailored approach they deserve. I do this in the form of Solo Walk & Plays.
What is a Solo Walk & Play?
Your dog’s new favourite Walkies!
Solo Walk & Plays will be tailored to your dog’s needs and adjusted as necessary on the go, depending on their energy, mood, as well as their individual needs regarding weather, walking distance, etc. on any given day. The 1 hour walk will usually include the street walk to and from a local park (so they don’t spend any time in the car), some off lead time in a safe area if their recall is secure, as well as some play, mental stimulation / training, or other things they enjoy (can be discussed in advance).
Here are just some of the many advantages of a Solo Walk & Play vs. a conventional group walk:
• Full attention on your dog at all times – not only will your dog LOVE the attention, it is also much safer
• Walks can and will be tailored to your dog’s individual needs and adjusted on the day if necessary
• Includes physical and mental stimulation
• I can build a strong bond with your dog which improves the quality and safety of their walks with me
• Your dog won’t be loaded into a van and driven around for long periods of time – they get to walk for the entire 60 minutes from the moment we leave their house
Solo Walk & Plays are an amazing experience for any and all dogs, and can be especially beneficial for dogs who:
• enjoy or need more attention
• are reactive towards or fearful of other dogs
• have high energy needs and benefit from 1 on 1 time and more engagement
• enjoy play and / or mental stimulation on walks
• don’t feel comfortable being walked in a group or with inexperienced people
• have specific needs that can’t be accommodated in a group
